I have a deep and personal connection with the special education community in our district, and have seen up close the immense difficulties that autistic children transitioning into adulthood face. Knowing the emotional physical and financial toll on families and communities, I am extremely keen on being part of a team ten years from now working on providing solutions to this growing problem of providing special needs children with the care they need to thrive in the world
