In my school environment I have challenged myself the participate in many activities. I have joined the school, football and track and field teams, and have been awarded captain status in track and field. Another part of my school life is that I have joined the school marching band and concert band. The clubs I participate in are Science Olympiad and National Honor Society. Outside of school I am involved in many community service activities, such as Habitat for Humanity and a local food pantry. I am also involved in the Boy Scouts of America, and have attained the rank of Eagle Scout. I have even earned four Eagle Palms after I was awarded Eagle rank. This scholarship is important to me because it takes the some stress off of college and worrying
