In Stephen King’s essay “Reading to Write” the author insists that if we want to be good writers, we have to read…a lot. King explains how he got started on reading. He was in the eighth grade when he picked up a tale about mining. I too remember the first book that I loved or rather found interesting. It was The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane.
