Diversity in ethnic backgrounds and races exist today. However, that was not the case back then. The movie 42 is an interesting, significant, and solemn non-fictional story on how African Americans were considered in America after World War II. The main character, Jackie Robinson, or an African American individual, showcases how he’s changed society through joining the Major League Baseball (MLB. League for white people back in the day). This was truly a remarkable film because it showcases Jackie and his struggles in the MLB. In 1945, there were separate leagues for whites (MLB) and African Americans.
