It was Thursday July 17th and wonderful summer evening when I experienced my first concert that was not country music. I have always wanted to go to the Steven Miller Band ever since I heard their music. The environment that night was one to remember. We got there a little late so we had to walk about a half mile to get to the USANA Amphitheatre, cars lined up on the side of the road as far as the eye can see. Indeed I was wrong, the second Journey came on stage the crowd went crazy and the noise was five times louder than the Steven Miller Band. The best song of the night was “Don’t Stop Believin”. Everyone at the USANA Amphitheatre was dancing and singing, what a mind-blowing experience. I would have to say this concert topped all concert experiences. I defiantly want to keep an eye out for other concerts to encounter other genres. I enjoyed listening to other student’s selection of music we had in
