In conclusion, I increased my knowledge of stewardship through the exposure of two different examples. Although lessons were learned while reading both texts, I enjoyed To Kill a Mockingbird more. Sleeth’s text ostensibly portrayed a “do what I tell you” scenario, rather than a critical thinking provocation. Lee’s text taught by allowing one the use of imagination, and empathy. To fully understand stewardship, one must consider how one’s actions and behaviors will affect others. Lee wrote a thought provoking, critical thinking, imagination stimulating story. He created passion in the reader to ponder the decisions that he/she had made in the past, as well as impeccable thought toward future decisions. My outlook about how I should be living
