STONEHENGE
Hello I'm Ivan Maslov and today I'll talk about the worldwide mystery called Stonehedge. Stonehedge is a historic monument located in Salisbury plane, about 13 km north of Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. Mystery of stonehdg is still unknown, no one knows who built it and why. It is assumed to be built in the 3000-1520 BC and served in a ceremonial or religious purposes.
Who built stonehedge?
The question who built Stonehedge is still unanswered. It has been hypothesised that it was built from the Druids or Romans but this thesis was disproved when it is proved that the Stonehedge was built 2000 years before them. The best answer we have today is that, it has been built by people of the Neolithic period (around 3000 BC) and carryied forward to new people. These "new people" were named Baker Folk

The first phase of construction, which was completed around 2900 BC consists of a circular ditch with a diameter of 110 m, and the depth of 1.5 m, some archaeologists even believe that they use dear horns to dig the trench and depth which they use as a hoes. The second phase, which lasted from 2900 to 2500 BC consisted of a wooden trunk which were placed in the center of the pit, and in the north where it was centered into the temple were also rerected poles. The third phase, which lasted from 2500 to 1600 BC greatly changed Stonehedge consisted of transporting bluestone from southwest Wales located 220 km from them. Transportation of these pillars was a huge venture because every stone had a weight about 4 tons and transporting of the stones took place on the river, sea and land. During this construction the blue stone was soon replaced by the so-called sand stone which was brought from Malborough valley 40 km north of stonhedga, 30 sand stones were erected and placed in a circle with a diameter of 33 m and on them were placed flat long stones that formed the ring on that
