The Carwash
The smell of a clean car, nothing can beat it. Especially when it only takes 15 minutes to complete. Many people don't realize what it takes to operate a car wash, how many people are behind the scenes making sure you get a clean car. The machinery, employees, management and paperwork is overwhelming. Let me take you behind the scenes and show what it really takes to operate a Autobell Car Wash.
Of course you have your top manager, the store manager. He looks over all of those stores operations. There is no one at store level who has more authority than this guy. We call him the big kahuna, as a store manager that store is your responsibility and there is a reason that the higher ups chose you to run that store. On a busy saturday you'll probably never see this man. He will be running up and down the wash making sure all equipment is running properly and also diligently making sure no cars hit during the wash process. On a rainy day hes the mechanic. fixing hydraulic leaks, soap lines, air lines, electrical equipment and more. This is his sole responsibility making sure the store is running and processing cars without the need of a terminal shutdown of the car wash. People always think we have a crew that goes around to every store fixing things that are broken. This is the farthest from the truth. Our management team is the only personnel we have that takes care of the machinery, electrical, and hydraulics of the wash. While still making sure our

employees are safe and our customers are taken care of. This brings me to our next line in kin. Some stores have many, others have quite a few. Whatever Autobell Car Wash youre visiting you will always see the guys in the blue shirts. These are our Assistant managers. They aid the store manager in overall operations of the store. We make the store manager's job easier for him doing many of the same things he does. When the store manager isn't on site the assistant managers are in charge of that location. They are the ones who are responsible of the lives of their employees and the wellness of a five million dollar water conservation facility disguised as a car wash. On the busy days you will see these guys running from car to car making sure our work quality is near perfection. They might be in the back sending each car through the high powered machinery cleaning the dirt and grime off every car that goes through. They do everything from filing paperwork to getting their hands dirty fixing hydraulic leaks and soap lines making sure that the car wash is never shut down. Assistant Open and Close the store, during those hours that the store manager isn't there the huge responsibility of running that specific location is put on their shoulders and that can never be taken lightly. Especially when those are mostly under 20 years old. The store manager chose these few and far inbetween because he saw potential in them. The store manager must always
