Product strategy for hospitals.
Charging levels refers to how much powers are delivered to the vehicle.
There are currently three different levels of charging stations, although there may be more introductions in the future depending on the level of changes in technology. There level 1 charging stations which would require 16-20 hours to recharge, 8 hours with level 2 and less than one hour with level 1.
Level-1
level 1 charging is the most basic and is done from a regular household electrical socket with 120volts at 15 or 20amps. It takes 16-20 hours to full charge.
The level 1 charging is not recommended to be fixed in hospitals since this level is not different from that normal socket available in household and this is already installed in every household and in hospitals too. So this makes level 1 out of target.
Level-2
The level 2 charging stations uses special pedestal or wall mounted equipment. This kind of charging is slightly faster than level 1 and it can provide 15 and 30 miles of driving range for every hour charged, depending on the type of vehicle.
This is at least faster than level one this is recommendable for hospitals, because it might be the best one to doctors and other hospital staffs since they stay there for long hours. Also for patient’s visitors most of them stay for more than 45minutes by average and those who go to the hospitals just to meet doctors by appointment. They can plug in their cars while waiting to see their loved ones and those who go for appointment while waiting to see doctors respectively. Level- 3 This is the fast charging it uses gas pump sized, industrially rated this makes this stations to pour electrons into the battery, much faster than any other level of this charging stations. This kind of charging stations it
