In my opinion the rising action of this story would be his attempts at suicide. Joined by the more than one attempt it took to get to the climax. I believe this is the rising action because these attempts are leading him to decide that he does want to live. Although it took these things to happen before he could realize it it still was what he needed to get to where he should be. Without the rising action he would of never seen the reason and the story would of never occurred.
4. The climax in this story is when he decides that in fact he does want to live. This is the major turn in the story where before he thought he wanted death. Although unknowingly he subconsciously did not want that he was just at a low point in life. It took him those close calls to realize what he did want. This is the climax because this the change of mind and changes his life.
5. The falling action would be after he has changed his mind and he is sitting there. After his change of mind he is sitting trying to regather himself and come to terms with what has transpired. As he is sitting there is when you can tell a change of tone and vision. One can tell the difference between the despair he once felt and now. He has chon to live on and change his life for a
