I start this story on a cool fall morning and I was walking through the desert as a shortcut to my friend Connor’s house. I had the eerie feeling that I was being watched so I turned back and nothing was there but a tall Saguaro Cactus but l still had that eerie feeling. I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched Then I made it to Connor's house. I was there finally there I could rest and not be so paranoid. I thought that we could have a good night playing games and eating candy but then I hear an eerie sound. A sound like no other it is hard to describe but it sounded like, a high pitched squeal from a tire. All night Connor sounded and acted different then I heard a crack like snapping of twigs and Connor's neck snapped. He was dead in an instant.

I ran and ran and ran for I was terrified and my blood was cold. It was how the creature killed Connor the scared me. It disappeared in an instant and then it had control of the body and it killed him from inside out. I wondered why I wasn't the victim and why it let me out. Was it the wish of the beast to haunt me and kill at those that are close to me. It might be but connor's death helped me realize that this was the beginning. So I ran to Jade's house and told her what happened and she was so . . . intrigued she told me that we should hunt the beast but then I heard the sound but it was different but I knew what it was. I heard it here and the her dog Domino can into the room happy as ever and the she started growling and then she bit me. She had never done this before. I was so scared for what happened if the beast possessed Domino. Could that be why Domino attacked. Then Domino started to whimper and ran off
