Greg Mortenson is a bad man who steals money, he should be put in jail for his atrocious crimes. I feel that Greg Mortenson should be put in jail. Greg Mortenson has stolen a great amount of the money that should be going to the schools. He has betrayed our trust and so on he has delayed process of giving people in Afghanistan schools. If Greg Mortenson is put in jail the bad name on the CAI’s forehead will be lifted. I feel that Greg Mortenson just wants money, he doesn’t even care about the children. Greg lied about the events in the book, he never was nursed back to health in Haji Ali’s home. He did not even meet the people of Korphe until the next year in October 1994. Greg also lied about how much money went to the schools. Only about 41% of money donated actually went to the schools. So where did the other 59% go? Did it go straight to Greg’s pockets? The CAI is a million dollar company all donated by citizens, that’s a lot of money stolen by a lot of people. Greg lied about the amount of schools made. I assume that Greg Mortenson made the book only to make money. As stated in an article about Greg it says, “ ‘Greg’ says a former treasurer of the…show more content… He may not have made how many schools he said he made but he still made a bunch of schools that have taught thousands of people. They have taught all these skills to these girls that help them live. Also 41% of a million dollar company is actually a lot. I know he could be using almost all of that money to make more schools but things happen, you gotta pay people and things might not go as planned. He might have had good intentions in the first place like almost 100% of money going to the schools but as I said, things happen. Greg might have lied about most of his book, Three Cups of Tea but I guess you need to make money some how and if it’s for the better it’s
