Clemantin Wamariya’s article “I Remember Night: In Remembrance of Elie Wiesel,” describes how Wamariya received inspiration from “Night,” and how it led her to her career today. I ask you not to ban “Night” and similar books due to the inspiration they bestow upon students and the journey to the prevention of genocide.
