In Drown by Junot Diaz, the short story Boyfriend told the story of a young man and women who were having relationship problems. After reading this short story, I began to think about how I as a person occasionally stay in relationships with people that I know are bad for me. These are not just dating relationships, but friendships as well. Due to my way of thinking, I always look for the best inside of people. When someone does something wrong to me I always try to forgive them and focus on the good inside of them.
