Good Morning/Afternoon Mr Richards and peers. Today I'm going to be talking about the Representations of People and Places using the subject matter, theme and mood to help understand the poet's intentions in the poem "No Fixed Address" written by Donald Bruce Dawe. Dawe was born in Fitzroy, Melbourne 1930. He was inspired by his two older sisters to write poetry. He got married to Gloria Blain on January 27th 1964 who sadly passed away on the 30th December 1997 after a long battle with cancer. This encouraged him to write more poetry that is well known today as some of the best stories and poems in the world. He has won many awards and medals for his work.
