In Chapter 8 “ Lost in the Mall “ in Opening Skinner’s Box Lauren Slater talks about an experiment conducted by Elizabeth Loftus a psychologist who designed an experiment to prove that ones memory can be manipulated. After Loftus is involved in a trial, which was lost, she decided to focus on what makes a person remember event and how it can be changed by contamination.
