President Ono’s Letter
To write a letter such as the one by President Ono requires a careful consideration of the audience, goals of the message and the situation under which the letter is designed (Rentz 100). To determine the extent to which any letter appeal to the audience and the general success of a letter, a consideration whether the message is direct or indirect and what fonts applies to the body of the letter among other aspects that contribute to the aesthetics of letters. This paper is hence an analysis on the President Ono’s letter on Hottest College in America 2013 tour, the particular shifts it creates in an attitude toward the President, the subject matter and role of one as a student of the institution. This is an opening statement to support further the pessimistic tone President Ono presents over the World Wide Web that strives to replace the face to face communication, which is not possible according to the President’s letter.
