The summary of the findings indicate that the first intervention was partially successful as per the data collected using the ABC form. Ruby would use the visuals and verbal prompts with adult assistance and reminders “Ruby use your words- I want…..” to gain adult attention. The first two days the intervention did work as there was a drop in the duration of her undressing herself in the classroom and trying to run out of the classroom. After a talk with the special education teacher we decided to add intervention 2 along with intervention 1. Ruby was made to wear a leotard under her clothing to discourage her from undressing. The intervention was also a gaining success as from the above graph the total minutes the behavior lasted was decreasing.
