I believe that before we as a country refuse to make abortions legal, we should understand the impact that this decision on women who wish to end a pregnancy. Without the right to chose an abortion, many women can result to committing at home abortions and placing their own lives in danger. The article Self-induction of abortion among women in the United States, states the increase in amount of women who are committing self-abortions and the top reasons as to why women chose to go down this dangerous path. (Grossman, 2010) One of the top reasons described in the article is the “obstacles to accessing clinical services” due to financial reasons. I think that this article is speaking to a bigger issue at hand that arises when this right is taken
