The book, Crank by Ellen Hopkins is a story of this girl named, Kristina. She is a teenager who becomes addicted to crank which is a form of methamphetamine. This novel is written about how she spirals out of control because of her influence on the drug, Crank. It shows how she deals with all the addiction and the consequences of the bad decisions that she makes. She has many ups and downs, but at one her lowest point, she finds out that she's pregnant. This destroys her self esteem, but keeps going. Kristina takes a trip to visit her birth father since she thinks it would help, as she is misplaced in her family by her brother and her stepfather.
