There is a story with a girl named Lupe that she works hard for something she wanted to accomplish. In the story, “The Marble Champ,” by Gary Soto, there is an admirable character named Lupe. she is a good sport, determined and very intelligent which makes her someone to look up to. The first reason that lupe is admirable is she is a good sport. One piece of evidence is when she won a tournament she stood up congratulated the opponent. And then she went to the next tournament. she din’t just brag and say I'm better when she won like some people. Also lupe invited a girl named Rachel to stay with them in the marble tournament because no family was with the girl. In addition she din’t have to invite Rachel to stay with Lupe
