I read a fictional book about kids and pets written to

entertain the reader. Megan McDonald wrote the book called

Triple Pet Trouble and Erwin Madrid was the illustrator. The main characters were Judy Moody and her little brother Stink. Judy was a good problem solver, independent and sometimes a little weird. Stink was her brainy and weird little brother. The supporting characters were Judy’s pet cat,Mouse, Jaws her Venus Flytrap, Amy Namey her friend, and Stink’s pet toad Toady. The setting for most of the book was in Judy’s bedroom and her front yard. Parts of the book happened at Cape Fear Carnivores and at Jessica Finch’s backyard obedience school and doggy day care. Cape Fear Carnivores. She asked her Dad to take her there to

see if they knew what was wrong with Jaws. Judy met the

owner, Peter Tomato and he helped her plant Jaws in a bog

with a pitcher plant she named Petunia. After Judy got home, she went to her room and started reading a book to Mouse called The Big Head Book of Pets.

When she looked out the window, she saw that Stink was

Selling lemonade. I think she was mad because her brother was making money. Judy decided to set up a mind reading stand and claimed that Mouse could read pets minds. At first no one stopped at her stand the kids just kept buying lemonade. After she added free things like head scratches and tummy rubs, kids asked Mouse for answers to their pet problems. Mouse really wasn't solving the problems Judy was getting the answers from a book hidden under the table. Judy started making money and teased her brother by jingling her jar. Stink became upset because he thought Judy was stealing his customers. After
