The Haunting of Waverly Hills Sanatorium
Waverly Hills Hospital was located in Louisville, Kentucky. The land that the hospital was on was owned by major H. Hays he bought the hospital in 1883 and lived in the hospital as a family home. Jefferson County was taken by an outbreak of tuberculosis, the main building had two open air pavilions, and each house had at least twenty people in them for the “early treatment”. Waverly Hills Hospital was called the T.B. because, very many people died of tuberculosis including a little boy named Timmy he was about six or seven years-old when he passed away.
