The sound of the lub dub from the heart comes from the valves and artery. The lub sound you hear first happens when the mitral and the tricuspid valves close. The dub sound you hear second happens when the aortic valve and the pulmonic valve close. When taking your blood pressure, you can hear a tapping sound when the pressure is decreased. This sound is called the korotkoff sound. When the tapping sound is heard, that signifies the systolic pressure and when the tapping sound ceases, that signifies the diastolic pressure (Cindy Maley, 2013). The difference between your heartbeat and the korotkoff sound is your heartbeat is the sound of the blood pumping and the korotkoff sound tells the bloodpressure. Your blood pressure is higher in your arteries versus your veins because ther is a larger amount of blood being pumped through the artery. There are many ways to improve your body circulation naturally. Some of the ways include staying away from alcohol and sugar alcohol. These may affect your circulation in a negative way. Another way is to avoid caffeine. Tea, soda, coffee, energy drinks, and diet pills should be avoided. Also eating healthy and exercising regularly will help to improve your circulation. Thick blood comes from a buildup of excess blood cells, diseases that affect blood clotting, and excess clotting proteins in the blood.
