Super Bowl LI wasn’t bad, but it had many things that I would’ve changed if I was the coordinator. The commercials were bland and the halftime show wasn’t eye catching. The game was good, but I think that to have a great Super Bowl there needs to be some changes. First off, the commercials this year were terrible. The only funny ones were the environmentally friendly Molly one for the Kia Niro and the Cam Newton Buick commercial. Most commercials were boring and then there were the disturbing Verizon commercials that were based off of Fifty Shades of Gray. Those were the worst commercials I’ve ever seen. Next year I think that we should make a story out of commercials. Every ad would combine to make a huge long story, almost like a movie. You could advertise almost …show more content…
A short example of this is we could make a commercial-movie about getting chased by a gang then going off the grid in the woods. We could start it off by having the main character in an Alfa Romeo (the main sponsor of Super Bowl LI) with people in a Kira Nero chasing him. They download a tracking device to the man’s phone while they go on a chase on a highway. The Alfa starts to slow because it’s starting to run out of gas, but the Nero stays strong because it’s a “Fuel efficient eco friendly environmental champion.” The guy in the Alfa bails from the car and runs into the woods, but the tracker reveals his location because of the wireless company's “High strength reliable cellular data plan for only $40 a person.” During the chase in the woods, the man ditches his cell phone and makes his way to a hidden shed
