Surface and Sectional anatomy have differences and similarities but for the most part they are inseparable. Surface anatomy is associated with internal structures within the human body. While sectional anatomy highlights the physical affiliation between the internal structures. Surface and Sectional anatomy provide the basis for radiology therapy by giving an infrastructure for treatment planning and distribution of the therapy regimen.
