Suspicious Sadie

Sadie sadily speaks silently.
Sadie sacredly speeds seamlessly.
She supposedly scratches strawberries solving staircases.
She sneakily sails to Sweden on some days.
Stressfully sacrificing squirrels on Saturdays,
Suspiciously slaughtering snails spiritually,
Sadie styles sassy shirts.
Sadie is supersonic and so special,
She is seasonally sour and soft,
And don't forget scummy.

Onomatopoeia

This is Fall

Crack! Crunch!
The fall crispy leaves crumble as my bare feet trample over them.

The crispy winds flying around my face,
My lips begin to dry up and become chapped.
All around me, parents are raking the leaves.
Yay! The children scream as they jump into the mound of orange leaves,

Cringle,

Imagery

Moon and Ocean

The golden shiny oval in the sky,
The vast blue pool with pictures of shining diamonds,
The wave’s rhythm is like a pop song,
Every wave’s rhythm complements the next never missing a beat.

The elegant waves are hidden by man,
The deep blue pool with hidden gems and treasures.

The moon's beauty shining like a flashlight for the sea animals deep below,
The commendable ocean’s beauty is beyond the moon's atmosphere,
The wonders are hidden never discovered, never touched.

The thousands of scales shine gleamly from the fish,
Lighting up as if it was a disco ball.

The ocean’s beauty and the moon’s gleam go together like peanut butter and jelly sandwich for all to appreciate.

My own poem

The Creatures of the Twilight Hour

It is when the blue sky turns into night,
When the street lights start to flicker,
That when you know twilight has begun.

The creatures of twilight hour approach,
The hairy, spiny, and unloved come for peace,
They slither from the sewers to experience the twilight hour.

They never have trouble fitting in,
Cuz all don’t fit in with each other,
Each one is different from each

Simile and Metaphor

Love

Love is greater than nature itself,
It’s unexplainable and unimaginable.

Love is as powerful as Mahatma Gandhi,
Love is as heartbreaking as a bird without wings.

Love is an open door to something new, or
Love is sometimes a slammed door in your face.

Love does not come to all,
It’s not an easy path to follow,
It’s a windy path never knowing what is ahead of you,
Love is as unpredictable as a winning the lottery.

Extended Metaphor:

My cat Smudge is a fuzzy sloth. Smudge is fat, and lazy like a sloth. He can also be very irritating as well as interesting.

My sister is a demon. She is always trying to make me mad, yet whatever I do, she is still by my side no matter what I do.

My mom is a queen. She makes sure everything is in order. She takes charge of everything. Without her, everything would go to hell.

My dog Molly is a scattered puzzle. It takes time and energy to put her together to really get to know her. She is a lot of work, but once together, you can see the beauty hidden inside her.

My friend Vickie G. is a teddy bear. Her warm and kind behavior is like a teddy bear. She is always there when I need her. She never seems to be in a bad or unhappy mood. She is also, selfless and
