The emergency response plan developed by Sutter Hospital focuses on the main issues that may emerge in the local community in case of emergency. At the moment, the emergency plan of Sutter Hospital focuses on the disaster procedures that involve the staff of the hospital, identification of alternative clinical sites, and possible external threats to the hospital and the local community. In this regard, the hospital focuses primarily on the training of the staff to act in case of emergency so that employees of the hospital know what they have to do if an emergency occurs. Such training takes place regularly and the staff of the hospital is ready to respond to the emergency and to provide medical aid and any other assistance needed for staff members, patients and community members. Along with training of the staff, disaster procedures developed by Sutter Hospital involve the development of the disaster management plan and the distribution of functions between staff members. Such plan allows the staff of the hospital to focus on specific functions which staff members perform in response to the emergency In addition, the hospital creates the emergency response team and employs professionals from the staff. In such a way, the staff can create the emergency response team in possibly shortest time that increases the effectiveness of the emergency response from the part of Sutter
