“The Stolen Party” by Liliana Heker uses symbolism to show the placement and hierarchy in life. The first paragraph shows how other characters such as the monkey are like her. The we talk about how other people may interpret the story. But then we show more evidence to show symbolism.
In the story there is a magician and he has a pet monkey as his assistant. Both the monkey and the young girl Rosaura think they are nothing more than a guess at the party. Rosaura has the mindset that the birthday girl is her friend and that she's not just the maid's daughter. When Luciana, the birthday girl's cousin said she was not a guest, Rosaura argued and argued saying she was a guest. But she would not listen just claim she is the helper.this shows
