Throughout life, nothing is predictable. Although people make decisions with good intentions, the outcome may not always turn out as expected, leaving them in a predicament. In order to improve situations, and escape quandaries, burdensome decisions are necessary. This is exemplified throughout Sandra Cisneros’ “Woman Hollering Creek,” where varied syntax is utilized to propose how difficult decisions are necessary in order to improve the quality of life.
