The word WATERFALLS represent different situation in the two people’s lives. The loss of the son in the first verse of the song represents a mother protecting her son from inner city street life. The son thinks the fast life is the best road to take. He wants money and respect. As a results consequently, he deals drugs and dies from getting shot.
