Introduction

Tamales Liliana’s is a local, well established restaurant, which provides customers with a family friendly atmosphere, where they can enjoy authentic Mexican food and drinks. Throughout the years, Tamales Lilians has created a significant list of loyal customers that have enjoyed their food for years. Through these years, they have also continuously grown in popularity, receiving a wide range of new customers on a daily basis. With the increase of new customers, comes an increase in both workload and orders for the employees to complete. At the moment, Tamales’ Liliana’s does not have enough employees to address these new responsibilities, creating an understaffed issue.

These solutions will improve conditions for both the employees by providing them with great working conditions and it will especially benefit the customers. “A variety of studies find that higher levels of customer satisfaction lead to greater customer loyalty. Through increasing loyalty, it is argued, customer satisfaction helps to secure future revenues, reduce cost of future transactions, decrease price elasticities.Word of mouth from satisfied customers lowers the cost of attracting new customers and enhances the firms overall reputation” (Anderson et al., 1997, 130-131). This demonstrates how these recommendations will help bring success to the restaurant.
