Next, we decided on two different kinds of tacos to share. The first kind of tacos we started with were the 3 Barbacoa de Lengua Taco Especial ($12), brisket braised in beer, chile de arbol and Mexican oregano, served on gluten free corn tortillas. It was so delicious, with the right amount of spice. Followed by 3 Crispy Fish Tacos ($13), beer battered fish, chipotle mayonnaise, and pickled cabbage. The waitress informed us these were the restaurant favorite, and we agreed. They were crispy, with a sweetness to them from the beer and cabbage. I’d recommend these crunchy fish tacos to anyone and to whoever visits Tacombi, they were very similar to a fish taco I had in Temecula, California last month. We finished off our meal with a fresh pressed juice ($4) containing orange, pineapple, mango and apple. It was super refreshing, and not too sweet.
