There were a couple of perpetrators of the Taino, and there was one main victim. So, the government of Taino is non-existent. Therefore, they have a king/leader. The Taino also had no militia.Also they had the Spanish militia, they had them target their main victim, the carib tribe.With all that went down with the Tainos there were still some survivors. Like Robert Garcia was one he said that he found himself through his tough time dealing with the aftermath of this genocide.So, from all this time they trusted the Spanish militia even though they were the ones who were going to attack them and kill off their community. The consequences and aftermath of this genocide are atrocious. In the Taino genocide 7 million people lost their life.Without 4 decades slavery contributed to the death of these 7 million Taino people. This genocide caused the survivors to have to deal with long-term effects of their loved ones dying. They also had to deal with the destruction of their town.Therefore, the Tainos went through a lot of loss and trauma.
