Children in Tang Soo Do

Tang Soo Do has helped many teens and adults to learn self-defense, be physically strong, and have a positive outlook, including children who greatly benefit the most. Teaching the martial arts to children helps them learn the importance of life skills such as self-control, self-esteem, discipline, courtesy, and respect for others. Many children have problems in solving their emotional issues if they are not active in exercise or lack ability in problem solving and decision-making. Tang Soo Do training and exercise helps children to keep physically active, build strength, strong balance, agility, power, and speed along with learning to defend themselves. Being a Leader begins with changing yourself, building character and continual self-improvement. It involves setting goals and having a vision, then making that commitment to take action to make the goal a reality.
