The essay “Against School”, by Taylor Gatto, depict how public education cripple’s students and how the social system control students mind. He is trying to inform to his audience who are attending in public school that the real propose of school is to train all the students to have adaptive function, which is a way to teach students how to react to authority in the future life. Gatto states that this idea means that teachers can't teach useful material in the school at least they wouldn’t be allowed to cultivate creative thinking in daily teaching, belong with this fact student are being turned into mindless robots that do the same things because government uses school to create obedient people.
