INTRODUCTION:
This case involved Teanna Ford being a danger to herself. Ford was transported to the Huntington Memorial Hospital Emergency Room where she was placed on a WIC 5150 hold.
INVESTIGATION:
On 01-31-18 at approximately 1821 hours, Officer Calderon #2037 and I responded to the above location regarding a mental health evaluation. PPD Dispatch advised that the subject wanted to kill herself by any means necessary.
Upon our arrival, I saw Ford sitting in the threshold of room #112 door crying. I contacted and asked Ford about her well-being and if she wanted to kill herself. Ford stated she told the dispatcher that she was going to shoot herself with a gun in order to die. Ford stated she did not have a firearm and only told that
