The three individuals, though autistic, were able to break out of their closed worlds and launch themselves into a path of success. In the end of Temple Grandin, Temple managed to earn a PhD in animal science and she created a system that allowed cows to be more comfortable as they were going to be slaughtered. Nobody had much faith in her, but she kept trying until she succeeded. Temple didn’t have the idea of success in mind, all she was doing was being herself. Her autism allowed her to be more intelligent (which was more likely due to Asperger’s syndrome) and in the end she was a well known figure. People can't just assume that if a person has Asperger’s syndrome or a disability then they won't be able to accomplish anything. Clearly Temple …show more content…

No accomplishment is too big or too small as long as that person pushes themselves as far as they can. Both Temple and Christopher were able to achieve the impossible in their own ways. Even though several obstacles were thrown at Christopher, his autistic traits didn’t stop him from pushing himself forward. Tim Page expressed his individuality and because of this he too was able to find success. Tim became a writer, a music critic, a producer, and a professor, and he was able to marry and have children (Page). He found comfort and achievements in his music even if he was unable to comfortably communicate with others. Despite being diagnosed with autism and then Asperger's syndrome, Tim is a great example of not letting the world get to you. He still suffers from Asperger’s syndrome and it will never go away, but he found aspects in his life that have helped him carry on and
