Have you ever wondered why terrorism is bad? Is it really bad? Do people have different views on their actions? With all this being said, the majority of people consider the act of terrorism to be a terrible thing. What does the word terrorism really mean? It means the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims. The terrorist are breaking major norms in any society such as the law and mores. Even though the majority of people believe these acts to be deviant, the subculture believes them to not be deviant at all because of their religion and how it encourages them to commit these acts to lead them to their reward of a utopian paradise that will await for them in their afterlife. These acts have made an impact on my life, after all these bombings that have been occurring, I never really know who to trust. With school shootings and such matters, I feel scared to be in class and I hope that it won’t ever happen to me or anyone else. With this being said, since I have this fear, it leads me to be less social and have less social interactions. If it has a social impact on my life then we can only imagine what impact it makes on those or even those who have been in that situation who have witnessed a terrorist attack. As we look and see the rise of terrorism, we must put our beliefs and mix them with the terrorist beliefs to fully understand how each brain works that is the non-terrorist brain and the terrorist brain. Everyone has their view on terrorism and whether it is something good or bad, what was the attacker's intentions and reasons.
