Living in the 21st Century, there is a lot of new technology and hi-tech products that we use on an everyday basis. No matter if it is a microwave, a T.V., a car or a cell phone, technology is always being updated. A product you see used a lot nowadays is the IPhone. The IPhone has changed a lot over the years, and is constantly updating and changing with each new model that is released. The IPhone, IPhone 3g, IPhone 3gs, IPhone 4, IPhone 4s, IPhone 5, IPhone 5c, IPhone 5s and the new IPhone 6 and the IPhone 6 Plus are all of the models of the IPhone so far. IPhone is a bigger seller than Android because of the different models, its crisp touch screen, and the very helpful Siri. I am part of the Apple family and own an IPhone 6 and love it.
The IPhone is always improving as you can see there are many different models; they have changed a lot just by the way they look. The first IPhone was a rounded square like shape with a rounded back (Everymac.com). This shape stayed the same for the next two IPhones, the IPhone 3g and IPhone 3gs. The IPhone 4 first came out as the next best thing, not just because of the new technology, but because of its looks too. It was now a rectangle with curved corners and glass on the front and the back with a new and improved flat back (Everymac.com). This shape stayed the same for the IPhone 4s as well. The IPhone 5 is the same shape as the four but is a little longer for a bigger screen. The brand new IPhone and IPhone 6 Plus are bigger and better in every way. It is larger, yet dramatically thinner. The IPhone 6 measuring 4.7 inches and the IPhone 6 plus measuring 5.5 inches the new generation of IPhone are better by any measure (Apple.com).
The GPS on each IPhone has also improved majorly. The IPhone 3 didn’t even start out with a GPS. The GPS has gone from just a regular app that gives you written directions to giving you a map to see where you are going. The IPhone 4,4s, and 5 have a 3D GPS with voice turn by turn directions. The IPhone 6 and IPhone 6 plus GPS have all the same features as the IPhone 5 except for the new Flyover feature (Apple.com). I love the large screen on the IPhone 6 which makes it easier to read the directions and view the maps. I use a GPS all the time so the bigger and easier to read screen comes in handy. Another great aspect to the IPhone is Siri. Siri is a part of Apple’s iOS which works as an intelligent personal assistant and knowledge navigator. The feature uses a natural language user to answer
