Huck and Tom Sawyer had become wealthy rich from all the treasure they had come across. Tom is elected first captain upon his gang members. The gang that Tom Sawyer had intentionally started had split up because they had not robbed, or killed nobody since they started. Huck is going to school and living a civilized, I am sure it is better than having to sleep outside. Jim was bitten on the ankle by a snake.
