Capital Punishment is a punishment for a major crime committed by a US citizen. If a US citizen receives a Capital Punishment, they are executed. Capital Punishment is an immoral thing to do, but is fair for the crime. Another punishment a criminal might take is a life sentence in jail. At least in a life sentence you get to live, but Capital Punishment should be banned because it is not humane/it is immoral, it is a sad thing to do, and because the suspect could actually be innocent and he/she would be killed for not doing anything.

The first reason why Capital Punishment should be banned is because it is not humane and it is immoral. Killing someone is wrong and shouldn’t be done even if someone murdered someone else. The government are also killers for executing all those criminals for doing wrong. Why not give them a life sentence so they can live the rest of their lives. Even the government kills people. Why can the government kill people for killing someone else? Why can’t the government get punished too? Capital Punishment is an unfair thing to do and is immoral.

If a US citizen commited a murder, they would be sentenced to Capital Punishment, and never see their family again. Killing someone affects a lot of people. Their families, friends, and other people. Revenge will take place and more people might be sentenced to capital punishment, which means the government executes more and more people. Many people might hate the government for killing their family member or friends, so everyone will dislike each other even more if Capital Punishment is
