Renaissance era and Baroque era

The renaissance era (french for rebirth) began in the 1400’s with the end of the medieval era and to close it around the 1600. The renaissance music was written in europe. The music written during this era was influenced by developments which define the early modern era. Most of the music written during the renaissance was mostly remained religious. The invention of the printing press helped music become published and passed around. The demand for more music entertainment and activity for educated amateurs increased. He was born 1556 and died august 12, 1612 in venice. He was a composer, organist, and teacher and celebrated for his sacred music, including massive choral and instrumental motets for the liturgy. Giovanni’s publication were two immense sacrae symphoniae of 1597 and 1615. Which both contain purely instrumental music for church use.
