Ever since photos have been available, pictures are very important to people. On February 1st 1900 a new more easy to use advanced camera came to production called, The Brownie. The Brownie was an instant hit selling 250,000 units in its first year, eliminating the use of Kodak’s expensive camera that needed the use of a darkroom and chemicals. The brownie was the the easy and most convenient way to get out of that, it costed about one dollar and remained in production for 80 years. Before The Brownie, people would only take one or two pictures in their lifetime, and they must in a studios. The Brownie was a way out of that.
