The first topic I’m going to talk about is some facts about wolves. First and foremost, I'm going to talk about the different breeds of wolves. I feel like people should know some different breeds of wolves can have different behavior styles especially in mating season. The males can be fairly more aggressive and the females are a lot more submissive. Also Arctic Wolves hunt and scavenge for their food. The next thing about wolves I’m going to talk about is why people should know there scientifique name. I don’t really think there is a reason that you should know their scientific names its cool to know these names. It may be helpful to know a few of these scientific names if your a wildlife officer, or a wildlife servaer. The first part of this paragraph will be me talking about the puppy behavior. Wolf pups act very similar to actual domesticated dog breeds when they are puppys. For example at around 20-24 days playing at the den entrance will begin, 30-50 days dominance play will start to occur and 60-77 days the wolf pups will start to follow their parents or relatives up to a mile away from the mothers den. Canines are a lot like the common child they want everything to be fair and equal, the plus side they don't throw temper tantrums if they don’t get their way. For the most part the wolves of the pack all have a common goal which is to please the Alpha if they don't these can result into punishment. Another essential point to this topic is pack rank. Most of the time ranks are two of opposite gender.There are many different ranks to a wolf pack such as Omega which is the lowest ranking wolves these two wolves usually are considered the packs chew toy. They bear the brunt of the pack their the submissives. Next are the betas. Think of them like an advisor of the advisor they are also second in command if a beta challenges one of the two alphas this battle is to the death or until one of them forfeits.
