2. The Necessary and Proper Clause is located in Article I, Section 8, clause 18. It states that Congress has the power to make any laws that they feel is necessary and proper in which will help the legislative branch to do their tasks.
3. The Supremacy Clause is located can be found in Article VI, Clause 2. This clause says that the U.S Constitution, U.S Laws and treaties are the ultimate laws of the U.S. It also talks about how state laws cannot interfere with Federal laws, and that Federal laws are above state laws.
4. These clauses have impacted the power of the federal government because they give more power to the federal government, unlike the Articles of Confederation. The federal government is able to now have more say under the rules of the Constitution.
5. The Habeas Corpus is located in Article I, Section 9, Clause 2. It states that any person who is put into jail, the jailor must be able to present a valid reason to the courts and if they can’t do this then the person who is being held in jail is free.
6. A habeas corpus is when a person who is in jail is brought up to a judge and that judge will determine if that person should really be in jail.
7. The bills of attainders are discussed in Article I, Section 9, Clause 3 and in Article I Section 10, Clause 1. In the constitution it says that no bill of attainder can be passed if it harms any contracts or obligations.
8. A bill of attainder is a legislative act that says a person is guilty of a crime without having a trial, and giving that person an unfair punishment.
