Good Friday is the day Jesus was crucified. On Good Friday Jesus died on the cross to forgive our sins. It all started by Judas Iscariot by betraying Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. Then the Jews captured Jesus and send him to Pontius Pilate were the Jews forced him to crucify Jesus. After Jesus dies suddenly day turns into night and there is a huge earthquake. This is important day to remember as a Christian. Also, one week before Easter the crosses must be veiled because of Jesus’s passion on Good Friday.
A bible verse that is to do with good Friday is in Isaiah 53:1-5, which states ‘Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground.
