Social networking has become one of the most developing methods to connect with any person. Sites like Facebook, Myspace, and Friendster have reunited many families and old classmates over the years. The author, Christine Rosen, discusses the importance of social network to a person and wonders whether social networking sites increased our self-absorption and aspiration to be famous. In the majority of her article, Rosen relies on ethos and logos such as facts and statistics to build her credibility and to completely persuade her audience (young adults) with her view point. The introduction is powerful as the author logically states that digital objects are more temporary than painted ones. However, they can be both modified due to human desire
