I believe that Proctor and Gamble were acting amorally in this case because it wasn’t serious and if anything it was giving new moms better savings on things they needed/wanted for their pregnancy and if anything helped them in the long term to remind of things they might not have thought of. In the other case about febreze I also think it is morally ok because it wasn't manipulating people into thinking they needed something but instead gave them a feeling of accomplishment when they clean their house. The principle of what they are doing is not wrong because its not against the law to profile shoppers and what they buy. I think this process can be helpful for shoppers and can make them buy more which isn't a bad thing unless they cant afford
