“Despite the violence and unrest that has plagued the country since it first achieved independence… Burundi was truly a paradise.” (11) He loved his home town and no matter what he went through he still thought of it in a good way. Many things went on during his childhood but he never talked trash about this place he thought of it as a good place and place that brought joy to him. “I was gradually worked up to the task… I don’t know what was filled fuller- my heart with Pride or the container with water.”(22) His childhood was full of many different tasks and challenges but he was glad to do that he thought that it was a honor.
